I came to the business world with an unconventional background in the performing arts. My aha moment was discovering how creativity is essential to scale a high growth business, strengthen culture and build well-connected, inclusive teams. While working with hundreds of companies with distinctly different corporate cultures, I witnessed the ones that enabled creativity at work led to happier, more engaged and productive teams.
Corporate culture is co-created by everyone - whether it’s conscious or not. It’s how we show up for each other when we think no one’s watching. These behavioral norms can strengthen relationships, help us connect to a shared purpose, ignite our imaginations and build something bigger than ourselves.
